At the Federation, we enjoy having the opportunity to work in collaboration with others and regularly benefit from working with schools in the Bedale Cluster and wider Swaledale Teaching Schools Alliance.

In particular, we work closely with Hackforth and Hornby C of E Primary School.  We enjoy and benefit from opportunities to share staff expertise, combined planning, staff training, school trips, sports teams and school resources to name just a few.  This close co-operation brings enormous benefits for the children of all schools, as together we are far stronger than when we work in isolation.

We believe that this model of school partnership is the way forward into the future for small rural schools like ourselves.
