Forest School

Forest School enables our children to develop an inquisitive and positive relationship with the natural world. The Forest School approach to learning can be summarised as one, which puts the child at the centre of their own learning. Forest School is based on a fundamental respect for children and young people, and for their capacity to instigate, test and maintain curiosity in the world around them.

Fun learning outdoors through Forest School

Forest School offers a unique educational experience and process that provides our children with the opportunities to thrive and develop; our children are stimulated by the outdoors and typically experience, over time, an increase in their self-belief, confidence, learning capacity, enthusiasm, communication and problem-solving skills and emotional well-being.

Forest School promotes positive learning behaviours and attitudes, which enables our children to become resilient and independent learners, helping them to grow as individuals.
