Our Sunflowers are learning all about travel and transport.  The children have learned about feet, wheels, engines, single-decker buses, double-decker buses and hundred deckers!  One of our stories was the excellent, 'The Hundred Decker Bus' by Mike Smith.  To support our learning, Mr Le Page visited school and wowed us with his unicycle skills.  We also took a trip on a local bus to Bedale to visit 'The Travel Lounge' travel agents.  Children looked at the world map and learned how to book a holiday.  Afterwards, we walked to the library to borrow books about transport.
