A great first forest  school session! We made dens, played games, climbed trees, crafted with found materials, played in the mud and generally had a great time! It was lovely and cool in the woodland.

We've had a fabulous afternoon at forest school. The children learnt how to start a small fire using a flint and steel. They also made some delicious bread flavoured with chocolate chips, which they then baked over the fire. We also made sure there was plenty of time to explore. We really are very lucky to have this special place to play and learn in.🌳🍃🪾

An adventurous end to a busy school week at Forest School,- fire lighting, elderflower juice making, jewellery creating, den building and crafting. Such a great environment to extend our learning!

A wholesome, fun-filled, final Forest School nearing the end of the Summer term!

What a time we had, both children and staff! To start the session we cooled down with a water fight ( I think it's fair to say, the staff came worse off!)

The children then came at one with nature, taking off their footwear and walking the nature trail!

The mud squelching between their toes appeared to be their favourite!

We all thanked and gave Mrs Whitford three cheers for all the planning and commitment she has given to ensuring Forest School has given all of our children a great, enriching outdoor learning experience🎉
