The Friends of Snape and Thornton Watlass (FOSTW) are an enthusiastic committee of parents, working hard on behalf of the school.  They raise funds to support ongoing financial commitments of the school and enrich the children's learning experiences.  The group aim to have fun as well as enabling staff and parents to get to know each other better; therefore, building a close school community. 

 

The Friends organise numerous events and fundraising activities throughout the school calendar, such as Christmas card designing, school discos, refreshment support for the Snape 5k and 10k, Christmas crafts, football and fun, and much more!  Delicious food and refreshments are always provided and the events are fully supported by the wider community. 

 

What do you get out of it? 

Becoming involved in the FOSTW is a great way to get more involved with the school.  You can help raise funds which directly benefit your child’s education. 

 

What we need from you ... 

• Please support the events that are held during the year.  Come along, help raise funds for the school and meet some new people.
• Give a little time.  There are always lots of things to do, whether it’s selling tickets for a quiz night or helping at the Summer Disco.  If you would like to help out either on a regular or adhoc basis, please let us know.
• Come along to the Friends' Meetings.  The meetings provide a great opportunity to find out what we are doing and have your say in what is being planned.
