Thornton Watlass Site - Red Kites Juniors

Children in Years 3 to 6 are at Thornton Watlass.  The experienced Teacher in Charge there, Mrs Sutcliffe is supported by a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, a part time Advanced Teaching Assistant, and a full time General Teaching Assistant with a SEN focus.  Our school is set within beautiful, extensive rural grounds, which have been developed to provide rich Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL); we are proud to have achieved Gold Accreditation for our provision in this.  We enjoy Forest School activities, regular extra curricular and enrichment opportunities as well as visits from specialist teachers and local church representatives.
